Snorkeling and Scuba Diving : Entrance Page

Cayman Islands have colorful marine life in its shallow water reefs. The West side of the island is shaped where there is calm seas as if ready to water ski. The barrier reef is protected since the late 1980's where marine life has furished. Any tour will result in great sightings of reef fish, sting rays, lobsters, and even an occasional turtle. Our guides will point out different marine life from one inch Christmas Tree Worms and Sea Anemones, to the spectacular colors of Angelfish.

We offers Guided Shore Snorkeling, Discover Scuba Diving, Open Water dives!

Grand Cayman: Scuba Diving Guide

Wall Diving - Underwater Cliff Hanging

The dive begins with a descent to around 60 feet, they you'll begin swimming out towards the wall. You reach the wall and begin descending to 100 feet, you check your depth gauge and time on your computer, and you venture on down to 120'. For a quick look.

That's it. You have to stop descending, and worst of all you have only a few minutes to stare over the Underwater cliff that drops down thousands of feet. You float, with complete neutral buoyancy, and strain your eyes to see into the massive depths below.

Suspended, filled with suspense, you literally hang over an Underwater cliff and wish desperately that you were able to slowly drop down.... and down.... and down, but you don't dare. It is a depth you would never come back from.

So you turn around and begin your slow ascent, and know that there are still frontiers where no man has gone before. You know that there are places in the depths of the seas where a few privileged divers have gone. The few who have had the financial means and training to see those depths, with special submarines, and surface support. You'll have to read about their discoveries later.

Now, you have moments to take in all the wall has on display for you to see on your ascent.

Maybe next time maybe you'll only go to 100 feet, and see more. Or take a Multi-Level Diver course to gain even more down time. Nevertheless, you just had a terrific adrenaline rush, and probably one of the most fantastic dives you've ever logged.

You know you're "hooked", you will go wall diving again many times, and cliff hang under water.
